Our Team

  • Anthony Narcisco

A top corner man in boxing must possess a range of complementary attributes that many people may never attain. The corner man must have unwavering devotion to that boxer’s well-being. The corner man has a desire to watch every characteristic of his boxer’s performance, a psychologist, able to assist the fighter through the emotional minefield that is the preparation for combat. A strategist, being able to see what it’s going to take to secure victory and offering the kind of tactical advice that can be put into practice in the crucible of battle.

Dom and I were each other’s cornermen in the sport of life. We provided each other with positive reinforcement, objective feedback, targeted motivation, and constructive and timely opportunities for improvement. We started the DNMF because want to pay tribute to Dominic and help surround today’s students with their “Cornermen”.

Happily residing in Blauvelt with wife Jennie and son Jonathan.

Dominic and Francine often shared their love of teaching through stories about their students' successes and by sharing their own personal philosophies of teaching and what’s most important. Dominic used to joke that while Francine was the “smarter of the two” he was the one swinging from ropes in Phys Ed class while she was grading essays!. As a teacher, Francine finds herself following in Dom’s footsteps in seeking to instill the positive values of leadership, determination and compassion in her student, Dominic’s impact has been and will continue to be immeasurable. Francine is immensely proud to be a part of this foundation that will continue to serve students and athletes.
